Heyhey,
My name is Yeika Hermans, I am 21 years old and born in Roermond. I am currently in my 3rd year of my bachelor. I didn’t grow up on a farm but I always had animals around me when growing up. From a very young age I knew I wanted to study something with animals, I always wanted to help animals and when I was in primary school I always said I wanted to become the new Freek Vonk. When I was searching for a study and I came across Animal science it was an easy choice.
In my first year I was already an active member of “De Veetelers” and in my second year I decided to join the Weekendcie and eventually I joined the Akcie. I really enjoyed my time in these commitees. During my time in these commitees I already learned a lot about “De Veetelers”.
I am really looking forward to this coming year as Board Member President of “De Veetelers” and I hope to make a good contribution to this association! I hope you all to see at the activities and if you ever have any questions let me know, I am always in for a chat :).
