Hey hey Veetelers!
I’m Lindsay, and I’m 24 years old. I’m currently in my fifth year of the bachelor’s degree, although I hope to be finished by next year. I hail from the ‘sunny’ South, also known as Brabant. I’m from a small town called Bakel near Helmond, which is near Eindhoven. In my free time, I like to read or listen to a book or doomscroll on my phone, but I’m also trying to do more creative things like drawing. I always had a huge fascination with biology, but sadly, my mother didn’t quite jive with the idea of pets, so I only ever had hamsters. While I was orienting on where I should study and what, someone told me about Wageningen and when I saw the study Animal Sciences, I instantly knew that is what I wanted to study!
Some may know me from my time in BTF, where I was the secretary from 2023 till 2025. Or maybe I’m more recognisable as a member of Almanakcie 42 to some. But my journey in Veetelers-land didn’t end there; I was also a member of DEC and Redactie.
I look forward to the upcoming year as Board Member Secretary of “de Veetelers”. I hope to see you all at activities, and if you ever have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me!
