Hoi!
My name is Clementine Beekwilder, I am 19 years old, and I am in my first year of this bachelor program. I grew up in an urban environment in the Netherlands, but I have always had a passion for working with animals. When I found out of the existence of this bachelor’s program, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. After finishing high school, I decided to take a gap year to travel, follow my dream of working with animals, and experience different cultures. I learned so much from these experiences, and it also helped confirm my choice of study even more. I am very happy to be here in Wageningen now!
Although I don’t have a long list of hobbies, I really value spending my spare time with the people closest to me. I enjoy being around my friends and family — whether we’re having a meal or a drink together, catching up, or doing something else, I truly enjoy it. I also find a lot of motivation in staying productive and putting effort into my work, or hitting some balls at a padel or tennis court!
Even though I have only just started this study and am therefore relatively new to the Veetelers, I am very excited to become part of the Board as Board Member Treasurer this year. I look forward to meeting all of you and learning as much as I can! I am very honoured to be in this position, and I look forward to seeing what this year will bring. If you ever see me around, feel free to come and have a chat with me! : )
Greetings,
Clementine
