Hoi!
My name is Erna Visser and I’m 22 years old. I come from a small village called Ingwierrum, located in the northeast of Friesland. I’m currently following the master’s thesis track Animal Nutrition and Metabolism (ANU). My passion for nutrition comes from our family business back home. We sell feed for dairy cows to farmers in our region. I love working and being at home cause there’s always something to do and it’s always “gezellig” with our staff and clients. I also really enjoy helping a local dairy farmer, especially during busy times like silage making or when some extra help is needed in the milking parlour.
I wanted to get to know more people here in Wageningen with the same passion for animals and farming as I have. I think De Veetelers is the perfect place for that, not only to have it “gezellig” with others, but also to learn from each other and share experiences. I first heard about De Veetelers during the AID, and I already knew I wanted to join.
I’m very much looking forward to be in the board, learning from all of you, and hopefully making a valuable contribution to De Veetelers as an Education Commissioner II.
