The association was founded in 1962 and its goals are:
- The promotion of the study interests of its members.
- The stimulation of the contact between students in Animal Sciences.
- Contribute to the development of its members in relation to the society.
The Study association is composed of many different committees and sub-associations, which all contribute to accomplish these goals.
Study association “De Veetelers” is an active association organised by and for students in Animal Sciences.
