Hi everyone,

Sub-association Aquarius has everything to do with fishing, fisheries, aquaculture, marine ecology and governance, and other aspects of the aquatic sector. Aquarius creates a bridge between theoretical academic knowledge and the practical application in real life. Hence, Aquarius organizes activities, such as excursions to companies related to the aquatic sector, and visits to research institutes. Moreover, once a year, a thesis and job market is organized to help students find their place in the work field.

But Aquarius does more than arranging excursions and debates. We also organize multiple social gatherings such as barbecues, angling, and drinks. Lastly, we are closely connected to our sponsors from the work field and educational side.

Aquarius has about 150 members and celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2024. Our study association creates a network for all students interested in aquaculture, fisheries, ecology, diving, aquaria, and more! Aquarius is also pleased to have an increasing number of international students among its members.
